Each aligner should be worn for about 22 hours a day for two weeks. To ensure your teeth are adjusting appropriately, we recommend that you schedule regular office visits every eight to ten weeks. With their removable capabilities, you will be able to enjoy many foods that would be off limits with traditional braces, however, it is important to brush your teeth and your aligners following each meal. Once treatment is complete, which may take anywhere from three to twenty four months, you will be given a retainer to wear nightly. The retainer will make sure that the teeth stay in place and do not drift away from their final placement.
